WA5-LE (Lite Edition) is a single-ended triode (SET), Class A tube amplifier. It differs from the highly applauded WA5 only in that it is a dedicated headphone amplifier & cannot be used to drive loudspeakers. In all other respects, WA5-LE is identical to the WA5 & offers the same enchanting sound quality. It is designed around the audiophiles' favorite 300B vacuum tube. This tube provides exceptional transparency, allowing the listener to experience music close to a live performance.
